Relationships can prove to be difficult at times, but most Connecticut couples are able to work through the disagreements and move on. A 35-year-old man in another state is facing two felony domestic battery charges and a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance after an altercation with his wife. Reports indicate that the man grabbed his wife by her throat during an argument. The incident was allegedly committed in a manner to provoke or insult the victim.
According to police records, the alleged aggressor was convicted for domestic battery a few years ago. The previous incident left him with a misdemeanor charge on his record. The most recent event landed the husband behind bars, and he appeared before a local judge who set his trial for October. He is not permitted to visit his wife’s residence.
